Customer’s Requirements
The customer is a bicycle management system service provider in Japan, focused on the digital transformation of bicycle parking and illegal parking management. With more than 500 field personnel, the organization conducts daily inspection tasks that include QR code scanning, photo documentation, location tracking, and cloud-based data synchronization.
Previously, inspectors were required to carry several separate tools—including smartphones, cameras, and manual recording materials—making fieldwork cumbersome and inefficient. Since inspections are conducted primarily outdoors, devices were frequently exposed to rain, accidental drops, and prolonged sunlight, resulting in high device failure rates. To address these challenges, the customer looked for a durable, all-in-one mobile solution capable of simplifying field operations, improving inspection efficiency, and reducing ongoing maintenance costs.
iMozen Solution
iMozen deployed the TC605 industrial mobile computer, enabling field staff to complete all inspection tasks using a single, integrated device.
1. All-in-One Device to Simplify Field Operations
Mobile computer TC605 integrates LTE connectivity, camera, barcode scanning, and GPS in one device, allowing inspectors to complete scanning, documentation, and reporting tasks without switching between multiple tools.
2. Designed for Reliable Outdoor Use
With 1.8-meter drop resistance and IP65/IP68 protection, the TC605 is designed to withstand challenging outdoor conditions, ensuring long-term reliability in field environments.
